News from the world
What each build changes, what the closed beta is testing, and anything that moves a line on the server sheet. A rate or an odds table only ever changes on a notice posted here first.

Nothing was being saved, and the tutorial needed three units
Two notices said the loop was fixed and neither was the end of it. On a real phone the server never received a session, so nothing you did was written down; and chapter 12 waits for a party of exactly three where a new account had one. Both are fixed.

The tutorial was deleting your save
The loop was not a cosmetic stall. An empty party made the client wipe its own save and close, then do it again on the next launch. That is fixed, progress is remembered, and the title-screen button now signs you in with a Groot ID.

The tutorial lets go, and there is a game behind it
Summoner creation no longer loops, and quests, summoning, deck editing and unit growth are built behind it. The server refuses the previous client, so this build needs a fresh download.

The closed beta has begun
The server is live and the Android client is on the download page behind a Groot ID. This is a test of sign-in, data and stability, not the opening of the world.

What the first beta build does, and what it does not
Written for the build of 2 August, when the boot was answered and almost nothing after it was. Kept as it stood; a later notice describes the build that replaced it.
- The project
Grand Gaia, rebuilt from the client's own protocol
The official servers closed in April 2022 and left a working client with nothing to talk to. This world answers it on its own terms rather than on invented ones.
