Grand Gaia

Answer the summons.

Six elements, a squad of six, and every unit reachable through play. Summon odds are published before the gate opens.

Fire, Water, Earth, Thunder, Light, Dark

The summoning is not the product

Gems are earned by playing, not bought, and the odds behind every gate are published before it opens. A gacha is only fair when you can read it.

A squad you built, not one you bought

Every unit in the game is reachable through play, Omni evolution included. Spending shortens nothing that matters, because there is nothing to shorten.

Announced before it changes

The ruleset is public and dated. Rates, odds and drop tables move on a notice, never quietly between maintenance windows.

The full sheet

The wheel

Six elements, and one of them is always the answer

Four turn in a cycle and two answer only to each other. Reading a boss before you build a squad is most of the game, so the wheel is never hidden behind a damage number.

Fire

strong againstEarth

Burst damage and attack buffs. Opens fights it intends to end early.

Water

strong againstFire

Mitigation and healing. The element a long fight is survived on.

Earth

strong againstThunder

Defence and stability. Holds a line while the rest of the squad works.

Thunder

strong againstWater

Speed and crystal generation. Keeps everyone else's bursts filled.

Light

strong againstDark

Cleansing and revival. Undoes what a boss did on its last turn.

Dark

strong againstLight

Drain and debuffs. Trades safety for numbers no other element reaches.

Six heroes standing in formation, each lit by their own element

Five of yours, and one borrowed

A squad is six units. Five are yours, the sixth is another summoner's, and the leader you put in front sets a skill that applies to all of them. Spheres and extra skills do the rest.

Brave Burst
Fills from the crystals dropped by your own hits. The turn-to-turn tool.
Super Brave Burst
Costs a full gauge and rewrites a turn: heavier damage, or the buff that saves one.
Ultimate Brave Burst
Once per fight, and only with an overdriven gauge. Kept for the turn that decides it.

The week

What there is to do once the squad is standing

Progression is not one ladder. Gates pay for evolution, trials test a finished squad, and the scored content resets so a good week is worth having again.

The ruins and floating islands of Grand Gaia at golden hour

Vortex Gate

Rotating gates that pay the evolution materials an Omni squad is built from.

Trials

Set-piece fights against the hardest bosses in the world. One squad, no retries mid-fight.

Frontier Hunter

A scored season. Clear on fewer turns with a stranger squad and place higher.

Arena and Colosseum

Automated player-versus-player. Your squad fights on its own leader skill and order.

Raid

Timed hunts run with other summoners, for materials nothing else drops.

Guild Raid

Guild-scale bosses on a weekly clock, scored on the guild's total contribution.

One account

Your Groot ID is the account

There is no separate registration here and no second password. The passport you use on the portal signs you in to this world, and to every other world we publish.

  • Your password is only ever typed on groot.games, never on this site.
  • Pre-registration is recorded against your passport, not a mailing list, and you can withdraw it whenever you like.
  • Already play Sky Fang or RO Classic? That passport already works here.

Pre-register

Be told when the gates open

Sign in with your Groot ID and you are on the list. You will be sent to groot.games and straight back here.

I need a Groot ID

Questions worth asking first

Do I need a separate account for this world?

No. Brave Frontier uses your Groot ID, the same passport that covers every game we publish. Create one once and it carries across titles.

What does pre-registering actually do?

It records your Groot ID against Brave Frontier, so we can tell you the moment the gates open. Nothing is charged and you can withdraw it from this site or from your passport dashboard at any time.

Which era of the game is this?

The global-era game, progressing through Omni evolution, run as one continuous world rather than a frozen snapshot. Later arcs unlock on a published cadence instead of all at once.

Is summoning going to be pay-to-win?

Gems are earned in play and are not for sale, and summon odds are published before a gate opens. The store carries cosmetics and convenience, and nothing in it decides a battle.

When does it open?

The date is not announced yet. It opens with a closed beta that pre-registered passports are invited to first, and the ruleset is published before any of it rather than after.

The gate is not open yet

Put your passport on the list and you will hear about the closed beta before it starts, not after it fills.
